The "I'm Spartacus!" Campaign

This campaign is a response to the current hostile, anti-transgender political climate. Transgender people are more vulnerable than ever and the U.S. government is trying to erase us from visibility, restrict our rights and representation, and could even try to identify us socially and politically.

By standing up in support of transgender people and our rights and showcasing your support, you can help to make us stand out less, make us less vulnerable, and yet boost our voices and needs to be even louder!

Join the Campaign

These simple steps can help shelter and support transgender people everywhere!

Sign the Pledge on our homepage and show your support.
Display your pronouns. Wear pronoun pins in public. Set your pronouns on Zoom calls, in your work email signature, and in your social media profiles.
Buy pride flags, display them publicly, and (if you can) give some to friends. Encourage everyone to display them. If you attend a protest, carry pride and/or transgender flags with you. Even if you aren't transgender you can display the trans flag in allyship!
Talk about transgender topics. Post and re-post about them on social media. Share information about upcoming pro LGBTQIA+ and transgender protests.
Speak out! Speak out publicly against anti-transgender politicians and policies. Use the 5 Calls app to message your representatives and voice support for transgender people.
Attend pro-transgender protests.
Stand in solidarity with other vulnerable peoples. Talk about immigration topics and Dreamers, repost about their topics and news. By standing together, we can all be harder to isolate and target!
Finally, watch this page and our BlueSky account for news requesting mass post-outs of transgender news or information. By joining with us and boosting these messages, it'll help share critical information and help make transgender people harder to identify and target online.
